BSB was entrusted with providing a comprehensive fire safety system for the QAH Portsmouth. The main build, completed and commissioned, included the supply and installation of 1100 fire/smoke dampers, 8 fully networked addressable damper control panels, and 90 fan control devices. Additionally, a sophisticated fireman’s override panel was installed, featuring a touch-screen PC with an interactive graphics package that displayed the project’s floor layout and damper locations through live icons.

Further works included an additional networked panel, 120 more fire/smoke dampers, and added additional floors to the interactive graphics package, maintaining the same format as the main building.
