Blending heritage architecture with contemporary comfort and ecological responsibility, the hotel brings immersive, medieval-themed accommodation to one of the UK’s most visited historic landmarks.

Working closely with One MEP, BSB supplied a complete passive fire protection and HVAC damper control solution, designed to support the sustainability objectives and efficient performance of the hotel.

Our solutions are engineered to meet Approved Document B and BS EN 1366-2 standards, BSB’s fire dampers deliver fail-safe motorised operation, low leakage performance, and are compact for easy integration into confined or themed service zones. Integrated monitoring units provide real-time status updates and system control, while a centralised damper control panel streamlines communication with the building’s BMS—ensuring efficient commissioning, testing, and ongoing compliance.
